Just Our Luck

HBO has ordered a series for the horse racing industry drama “Luck”, which starred Dustin Hoffman in the pilot episode.

Lady Luck was smiling on HBO as they decided to order a series to be made out of the pilot episode of “Luck” a drama starring Dustin Hoffman that focuses on every angle of the horse racing industry from breeders and owners to jockeys and gamblers. The pilot also starred Jason Gedrick, Nick Nolte and real-life jockey Gary Stevens.

Production is slated to begin this autumn at Santa Anita Park and other Los Angeles-area locations.
