New Channels For Surfing

Eight new Comcast channels are scheduled to be added in the next two years upon completion of their joint venture with NBCUniversal.

Once their joint venture with NBCUniversal is complete, Comcast has announced that they will add eight new channels – four each controlled by African-American and Hispanic interests – within a two year window after the transaction with NBC is completed.

In addition to adding the channels, Comcast says it will create a $20 million fund to assist minority entrepreneurs.
